Brenna Fallon, consultant at State Health Partners, works with clients to understand Medicaid program requirements through analysis of contracts and state and federal statutes and regulations. Prior to joining State Health Partners in 2020, Brenna practiced corporate and commercial real estate law as an associate attorney in the Orange County, California, office of Gibson, Dunn and Crutcher, LLP. She worked on a multitude of transactions, analyzing complex issues, managing workflow and teams, and immersing herself in the nuances and complexities of the deal. While there, Brenna dedicated a good portion of her time to pro bono legal matters, where she found great passion in advocating for the underserved.
After practicing law, Brenna took a leave of absence and moved to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, to work with a new photographic safari company that operated a tented camp in the Selous Game Reserve. While in Tanzania, she discerned a completely different system for delivering health care, one where access to basic services and necessities proved challenging for the local population.
Back in the U.S., Brenna worked with start-up, nonprofit organizations to facilitate their applications for tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. After a hiatus to focus on family, Brenna seized the opportunity to bring her legal training, aptitude, and analytical skills to State Health Partners.
Brenna earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with high distinction in religious studies from the University of Virginia and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Los Angeles School of Law. She remains an active member of the State Bar of California.
