Senior Health Care Consultant
Cindi Jones, Senior Health Care Consultant with State Health Partners, brings her extensive experience, knowledge, and creativity to clients to help them solve their most complex and pressing state health issues. Cindi worked for more than 30 years in public service for the Commonwealth of Virginia, including serving as Director of Virginia’s Medicaid program for 6 years. There she oversaw the provision of health, behavioral health, and long-term services and supports for more than one million residents.
During her tenure in public service, Cindi also led a Governor’s health reform initiative, provided oversight for state agencies and programs, and developed, implemented, and evaluated state health and human service programs, policies, and funding mechanisms.
Most recently, Cindi served as Senior Vice President of Government Relations at InnovAge, where she supported growth of the PACE model across the country and the expansion of community-based, high quality, integrated health and long-term services and supports to Medicare-Medicaid members. Cindi provides clients with clear-eyed insight and the ability to simplify complex information. She holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in human development and family studies from Virginia Tech.
